Pre-travel Steps:
1. Make sure to keep copies of your abstract and/or acceptance letter to attend conference
2. Save a copy of your GSO travel award letter
Attend the Meeting or Conference:
1. Attend the meeting or conference for which you have been awarded funds.
Post-Travel Steps*:
1. Within 5 working days after you return from your trip, you must mail all receipts and a copy of your GSO Travel Award letter, your abstract (if presenting), and all conference receipts (original) that detail that you attended the conference to:

2. Within 30 days following your travel, Mary Lou Galyon will issue your travel refund. If a travel claim is not received within 60 business days of your travel date, it will be assumed that the travel did not take place as planned and this travel award will be cancelled.
*If you have received this award letter after your travel for which you are seeking funding is completed, please complete the Post-Travel Steps within 5 working days after receipt of this letter. If we do not hear from you by May 1, your travel award will be cancelled.
After working closely with ASNAU the GSO has established a graduate student travel funding program. *Please do not apply for travel funding through ASNAU.*
Applications for travel during the Spring 2008 semester through June 30th 2008 are due April 1st!
Please read the award information before filling out and submitting your application.
In addition to support from the GSO you may be able to obtain travel money from your department and/or the Vice President of Research. Please check into opportunities for funding with the appropriate departmental faculty/staff members.
